We also strive to provide programs and events that will enhance social awareness and will provide revitalization to the community through participation among the residents in Berea.

Berea Cares
Berea Cares is a program developed to enrich the community of Berea by mobilizing volunteers to address community issues, help people in need and build on our collective assets.

Berea Community Outreach
Berea Community Outreach's mission is to be able to supply a Berea family in need with 3 full meals for 3 full days once per month.

Exterior Maintenance
The City of Berea Exterior Maintenance Code was established by Berea City Council in 1985 to protect the health, safety and welfare of residents by establishing minimum standards governing the maintenance, appearance and exterior condition of all premises throughout the City.

Dinner to Your Door
Dinner to your Door is a program that delivers meals to the homes of seniors and shut-in residents. Each freshly prepared meal will cost $4.50. Meals can be ordered for only one day, for as many days of the week as residents prefer. We will offer meals for all seven days of the week.

Grass Cutting, Leaf Raking, & Snow Removal
This program is available to income-eligible senior and disabled residents who meet all qualifications.

Housing Resource Office
Berea's Neighborhood Improvement Housing Program enables eligible low to moderate income homeowners in Berea to make basic repairs and improvements on their home.

Senior Wheels
The Senior Wheels is a transportation collaboration between the cities of Berea and Strongsville.

Veterans Outreach
Veterans and their immediate family members comprise approximately 16% of the total population of Berea. Mayor Cyril Kleem established this office to assist veterans and their families in a supportive and community-oriented environment.
