Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 6. The City of Berea and the Berea City School District have no issues or candidates on the ballot. But voters will be asked to decide one state-wide issue and three proposed county charter amendments as well as several state and county candidates. 

 Here is what is on your ballot:

Cuyahoga County Executive

Judges for Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court (choose 12)

Judges for Common Pleas Court Juvenile Division (choose 3)

Issues: 

State Issue 1: A proposed Constitutional Amendment – To Reduce Penalties for Crimes of Obtaining, Possessing and Using Illegal Drugs. 

Issue 10: A proposed Cuyahoga County Charter Amendment - To clarify the roles and responsibilities of the Personnel Review Commission and the Department of Human Resources to prohibit discrimination in county employment on the basis of gender identity/expression. 

Issue 11: A proposed Cuyahoga County Charter Amendment – To provide the Department of Internal Auditing discretion to bill departments for the cost of conducting audits and in adopting auditing standards. 

Issue 12: A proposed Cuyahoga County Charter Amendment – to establish the agency of Inspector General and to provide for the appointment, removal, qualifications, jurisdiction and powers and duties of the Inspector General including access to county information and subpoena power as the chief ethics officer of the county.
