These streets are part of the City’s annual road program. Crack sealing and pothole repairs to other roadways will be done by the City Service Department. To report a pothole, go to the City’s Web Site – www.cityofberea.org – and click on Report a Concern.
In addition, the City will do major roadway reconstruction on Barberry, Woodlawn, Maple and Fourth. This is a $4.9 million project that will include a new water line, sanitary sewer rehab, storm sewer rehab, new aprons and sidewalks and a new road. First, Columbia Gas of Ohio is replacing the gas lines. The project should be totally completed in 2023.
South Rocky River Drive also will be resurfaced from Bridge Street to Eastland Road. The cost is expected to be $525,000 and will include resurfacing the road, replacing sidewalks and aprons as needed. South Rocky River Drive will be completed this summer.
