Mission Statement:
The City of Berea Department of Recreation and Community Services exists to provide services that are creative, beneficial and responsive to the needs of the community. We strive to maintain safe and clean facilities with a staff that shall adhere to the highest professional standards. With a strong commitment to excellence, we will aspire to enhance the overall quality of life by establishing and promoting healthy lifestyle, personal growth, sportsmanship and family participation.
Announcements:
- Swim team parent's meeting - Tuesday, May 22 - 7 pm in the Roehm Cafeteria
- Early Bird Swim at the outdoor pool starts Monday, June 11. Hours: Monday - Friday from 7- 8 am. Cost is $1 per visit. Pay guard upon entry. Exact change required.
- Outdoor pool opens Memorial Day Weekend.
- Marine Week Cleveland Early Education Outreach Program for children ages 5 - 9. This program is being held in partnership with the National Museum of the Marine Corps and the Recreation Departments of the City of Berea, Brook Park, Middleburg Heights and Cleveland.
