Message from Mayor Kleem
We are very grateful to the Cavaliers cheer and dance teams for supporting Dinner To Your Door - Berea’s new meal option for seniors and disabled residents.
The Cavs Girls, Q Spirit Squad, Scream Team and junior dance teams will perform and help at a fundraiser for Dinner To Your Door on Saturday, April 1. The Cleveland Browns have offered their training facility on Lou Groza Boulevard for the event.
There is no admission charge. Collaboration Station, which provides the meals for Dinner To Your Door, will offer samples of their soups and desserts for sale. Patrons also can buy a “plate” for $20, which will feed five seniors. There will be a 50/50 raffle, cheer and dance demonstrations, face- and nail-painting and autograph and photo opportunities with the Cavs spirit squads.
The Cavs cheerleaders also will help deliver the meals for Dinner To Your Door once a month as part of their community service requirement.
What a terrific opportunity for our community to meet the cheer and dance teams of the NBA championship Cavaliers and to support our new home-delivery meal program.
The Dinner To Your Door fundraiser will be 2-5 p.m. on Saturday, April 1. No reservations are necessary. All proceeds will support those needing financial assistance to take part in Dinner To Your Door.
Thanks again to the Cavs and to the Browns for helping to make Berea a truly family-friendly community.
Please contact Daniel Ball if you have any questions or concerns, complaints regarding the completed Fair Street gas main project, or the North End gas main project.
