Message from Mayor Kleem
The City of Berea is pleased to introduce Dinner to Your Door – a new program to deliver freshly prepared meals to the homes of seniors and shut-in residents.
As you know, Meals on Wheels ceased delivery to Berea as of Dec. 31. Berea Cares and Berea Community Outreach have been looking for a cost-effective, nutritious alternative.
Collaboration Station, based in Cleveland, has signed on to provide the dinners for Dinner to Your Door. They use only organic ingredients and can accommodate special dietary needs, such as no-salt, diabetic, gluten-free or kosher.
Volunteers will make deliveries to Berea residents twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays at a low cost of $4 per meal. We will accept EBT/SNAP and Ohio HomeCare Waiver. You also can self-pay. Residents can order as many meals as they like, from just once a week to all seven days.
For an application, please contact Daune Jaynes at the Berea Community Outreach Office, email@example.com or (440) 826-4891.
