Video evidence, captured by private surveillance systems, can help officers develop leads during investigations. By registering, information collected would allow investigators to know the locations of cameras so that, if a crime occurs in that area, police can directly contact the community member for assistance. Registration of your video surveillance system DOES NOT grant the Berea Police Department, or its agents, access to your system.
