Andrea Morris, who previously worked for the City, returns as finance director.
Morris was the assistant finance director 1998-2005 under Dana Kavander, who has accepted a position with Orange Village.
Morris’ first day on the job was May 7. A graduate of Bedford High School, she has a bachelor of business administration degree with a major in accounting from the University of Cincinnati. She previously was the fiscal officer for the Village of North Randall and worked for the State Auditor’s Office.
“My goal is to continue the great financial legacy of this City,” Morris said. Morris lives in Maple Heights with her husband, Ted, and their three children.
Kavander began working for the City in 1990 as an internal auditor and was later hired as finance director. She was director of finance for three Berea mayors – Stanley Trupo, Joe Biddlecombe and Cyril Kleem.
